As German Spitz breeders in the USA (with both the Klein and the Mittel varieties as recognized by the UKC) we look forward to promoting this beautiful breed with quality stock to help it become more recognized and established here in the United States.
We are very excited about our German Spitz breed here at Kingsfield. Desending from the old German "Kleber" family, it's an honor and a privilege to re-live that family heritage and now own this truly unique breed of dogs
"Spanky" was the Number One German Spitz in the UKC during 2009. He was the first German Spitz to ever go Best-in-Show in the UKC, so needless to say, we are thrilled with this major accomplishment. And still going strong, he won Best of Breed at the very first specialty show put on by The German Spitz Association, the UKC recognized breed club for the German Spitz, which was held during UKC Premier 2011. Spanky ranked as the No. 4 German Spitz for 2011.
In 2009 the German Spitz was first shown in the UKC and at the UKC Premier (equivalent to the AKC Westminister), with over 1500 dogs in competition, Spanky won Northern Group 2nd at this special event.
Spanky has now sired his first litters of pups and we're really excited to get them into the ring. He was ranked as the No. 3 German Spitz in the UKC for 2010 !!!
At the 2012 UKC Premier shows Spanky was named "Best of Breed in the Top Ten Competition !!!

Koko finished her UKC Grand Championship on June 14, 2013 at the UKC Premier shows in Kalamazoo, MI !!!
This stunning 11" chocolate gal arrived from Australia to join our family here in the US. Koko has been a smiling joy from the moment she arrived.
Koko competed in a four-show UKC weekend in Athens, TN where she went Best in Multi-Breed Show (pictured above), one Reserve Best in Multi-Breed Show, and took Northern Group 1st at all four shows. Koko was tied as the No. 4 German Spitz in the UKC for 2010 and also the No. 2 German Spitz in the UKC for 2012!!!!. For more pictures of Koko, click on the link to her page below.
Another great win for Koko. At the 2012 UKC Specialty Show for The German Spitz Association, Koko was named Champion of Champions and also Best of Breed !!!!

Here at Kingsfield, our Good Time "Charlie" is a prime example of the teriffic personality of the German Spitz breed......always ready for a party to happen. This Cream and White parti colored boy finished his UKC Championship at just under 8 months old, all in one weekend (four shows) with four group placements; Northern Group 2nd, Group 1st, Group 4th and Group 3rd consecutively. This home-bred Mittel boy is 12 1/2" tall and sired by UKC Grand Ch. Marquis On Top at Kingsfield and out of UKC Ch. & Int'l Ch. Sheminee American Dream. Charlie then went on to finish his Grand Championship at the Middle GA Kennel Club shows in May of 2012, and finished the year of 2012 ranked as the No. 1 German Spitz in UKC Top Ten for 2012 .
Smokie (11") came to us from Marquis Kennels in California and is a true joy. He began his show career at just 7 months of age. At his very first show, starting from the puppy class, Smokie went Best in Show (over champions and grand champions) at the Great Southern Kennel Club in Long Beach, MS, finished his Grand Championship in December 2010 and was the No. 1 German Spitz in the UKC for 2010 and (with very limited showing) finished as No. 10 for 2011.
Finishing her Championship at the "ripe old age" of 6 months and 4 days old, Sicle (10 3/4") gained her title in just one weekend (four shows) by going Best of Winners and Best of Breed three times and then on to win two Group 2nds over other champions and grand champions. She is the daughter of the 2009 No. 1 German Spitz here in the US, our Gr. Ch. Marquis On Top at Kingsfield (pictured above) and out of UKC & Intl. Ch. Sheminee American Dream. Sicle finished her UKC Grand Championship at the Great Smoky Mountains Dog Club shows in October, 2013. Sicle is cream colored with matching pigment and was the No. 6 German Spitz in the UKC for 2010, No. 10 for 2012 and tied as Top Ten No. 3 for 2013 as well !!!!!. Talk about fabulous consistency over her lifetime!!!
Pictured above at 6 months of age when she finished her championship........
and she's STILL WINNING !!!!
"Lucky" finished his Championship at the Middle GA UKC shows in Perry, GA and now has his first Champion win towards his Grand Championship. Special thanks to Judge Dorothy Jacobs for the Group 2nd and Champion of Champions win pictured above. We are looking forward to some gorgeous puppies sired by Lucky as we cross him with some of our girls. We expect the best is yet to come !!! Lucky finished the year tied as the No. 5 German Spitz in UKC for 2013 with very limited showing!
Dream, cream colored with matching pigment, was our very first German Spitz and obtained her International Championship at 8 months of age. Here is a picture of Dream winning Best in Show at a Rarities event where she obtained her International Champion title.
Dream finished her UKC Championship in Long Beach, MS in April of 2010 and was the No. 7 German Spitz in the UKC for 2010 !!!!

"Cappi" is a tiny chocolate sable Klein out of two of our Best in Multi-Breed Show winners, UKC Gr. Ch. Marquis On Top At Kingsfield (sire) and UKC Gr. Ch. Fyreburst Koko Kisses (dam) so we're hopeful that she follows in her parents' footsteps. So full of life and personality, Cappi is now a UKC Champion, and has one Champion of Champion win towards her Grand Championship.
"Papa" is a home-bred, cream-colored Klein with very black pigment. He is out of GRCH. Kingsfield Dreamsicle, and sired by our BIMBS winning GRCH. Marquis Smokin' At Kingsfield. Watch for Paparazzi at the upcoming shows to be making his appearance in the puppy matches.
"Blue" is a blue wolf-sable Klein sired by BIMBS GRCH. Marquis Smokin' At Kingsfield and out of GRCH. Kingsfield Dreamsicle. We are looking forward to some show events with Blue as she continues to mature.
"Diva" is out of our BIMBS winning GRCH. Fyreburst Koko Kisses, and sired by CH. Marquis One Lucky Dog. After an exciting weekend at her first shows in Richmond, KY, December 12-14, we're tickled to announce that Diva is now a UKC Champion!!! We will be posting her newest pictures as soon as they are available.
